Ceremonial-Grade Matcha Powder - “Capital’s Fuji”

Miyako no Fuji, meaning “Fuji of the Capital,” is a distinguished ceremonial-grade matcha from Hekisuien, a trusted Uji tea maker since 1865. Named in poetic homage to Mount Hiei - often referred to as “Miyako no Fuji” in ancient works - this matcha was cherished by Sokuchusai, the 13th grand tea master of Omotesenke.

  • Structured and smooth, offering a delightful drinking experience even with minimal fuss

  • Finely stone-milled to create a creamy froth and silky mouthfeel, excellent in both usucha (thin tea) and koicha (thick tea) forms

  • Favoured by an esteemed tea master, reflecting its ceremonial authenticity and historical prestige
  • A refined matcha with depth and fragrance, ideal for both mindful rituals and elevated everyday use
