This full-bodied matcha offers a gently balanced, creamy, and slightly sweet flavour profile, with pronounced yet pleasantly mild notes. Unlike the "Eiraku" matcha, "Koushu" is richer and free from any tart or bitter undertones, making it a truly enjoyable experience for those who prefer a smoother cup. For the best taste, brew "Koushu" with water heated to at least 80°C.

The name "Koushu" ("晃秀") is imbued with deep meaning, where "晃" ("kou") signifies shining brightly under the sun, and "秀" ("shu") represents excellence.
